Happy Hanukah from those wacky Lubavitchers

If you’re unfamiliar with the Lubavitchers all I can tell you is that they are just another bunch of Jewish fundamentalists with all the usual trappings: beards, funny hats, magic underwear, fear and repression of women, etc. It makes my skin crawl to see them “lighting the National Menorah” in front of the White House with a U.S. military band in attendance. Of course, the oversized zebra was my contribution to the occasion. It’s probably not even kosher.
Late-breaking News: Alicia Ngombo, the giant zebra in this picture, caused a minor controversy when, in a pre-ceremony interview on Fox News, she refused to say whether she believed in “the god of the Judeo-Christian tradition”. The interviewer became hostile at that point and accused her of being an “atheist illegal alien”. Ms. Ngombo eventually walked off the set, but not before landing a couple of very powerful kicks which bought down most of the scenery.
