In the English Grammar System the people are represented by two separate, yet equally important groups; the hyperactive hoi polloi who improperly use multiple exclamation points, and the police who investigate these crimes and arrest the offenders. These are their stories!!!!

This is a quirky quote from a great short story I read recently; The Ray-gun: A Love Story by James Alan Gardner. It is a sly and funny tale in which the humans are completely unaware that their romance (and their lives) may be being organized by an object they found in the woods.  It gave me some insight into that old saying. “The universe is stranger than we understand. Perhaps stranger than we can understand.”

If you have been kidnapped off the street, drugged, flown to another country, tortured, and held indefinitely without trial, you are clearly not innocent.
